About Us
- Group Japino
- Ja-pi-no - Japanese Filipino.
The Japino Group is composed of 11 Fresh Benildeans taking up AB-MMA in De La Salle College of Saint Benilde. The group's goal is to help people gain knowledge of our culture by the means of art. Group Japino created a series artworks that illustrate the struggles of the early Filipinos, particularly during the Japanese Invasion. This site also includes a few artworks depicting what the Filipinos had to go through in Japan at the present. Each member used different kinds of mediums, both in digital and traditional to fully express the struggles and the sufferings during such events.
